Programmes Implemented by our organization “PASUMAI
ULAGAM” During the financial year 2007 –
2008 upto Nov, on month wise details with Expenses incurred.
Our organization “PASUMAI ULAGAM”
(GREEN WORLD) NGO – has been registered
by the year 2002 on 2 day of May and has been enhancing
programmes to reach our Vision & Mission to establish
a Green and Clean Erode District with out poverty, Gender,
caste, class and any other kind of discrimination and
have to establish a fair, equity society. The month
wise break up of our works / programme are as follows.

| APRIL 2007 |

An Artificial land has been established
and a Garden has initiated at ERODE BUS
STAND. By which, we have involved to make
the bus stand to be beautiful. Total cost of budget
Rs. 50,000/- |
2. |
Tree plantation week has conducted
and nearly 10 CAMPAIGNS PLANTED
in various places. All over the expenses Rs.
10,000 nearly 200 Trees
was planted. |
3. |
Wall paintings on Environment
protection, importance of tree plantation,
pollution controls, Rain water harvesting etc.,
are done on the Government Office and Government
School compound walls. The Expenses incurred was
Rs. 35,000/- |

Food and other needed provisions
has been donated “PASUMAI ULAGAM” to
the Kongu Illam orphanages in Erode. For which we
have spent Rs. 3,200/- Dated
: 15.05.2007 No. of beneficiaries 40
Children. |

Vocational Training for School going
children in 15 days Programme ( Memory skill development
and spoken English, Handwriting Class was contacted.
The expenses incurred programme was Rs.
2,500/- Dated :-01.05.2007 to 15.05.2007 |

participated our organization implement Kitchen

the varies Schools students in around. Erode Town.

Sponsored the programme of nature food and Yoha
Introduction Training programme for women. Our organization
contact programme for Kasipalayam SHG Womens 50
women’s are beneficiaries the expenses incurred

“Free Tailoring to 10 young Girls
under the financial assistance of “Agni Steel
Pvt Ltd” The expenses incurred programme was

- has celebrated the Independence Day on 15th August
at Erode Surampatti Govt. Primary School and conducted
cultural competition and other competitions among
the School Students. Prizes and given to the winners
with an worth of expenses of Rs. 750/-
Total number students participate – 40 students,
Total Number of Prize winners 15 students. (Sponsored
by Bharath Electronic and Home Appliance Erode) |

to the Anbu Illam at Karur Road For which we have
spent Rs. 2,000/- Dated

HONORING TRIBUTE
- 2ND OCT 2007
Paying tribute to our National father will pays a much
more for national development. Hence, we paid the same
by contacting awareness programme liquor habits and its
fatal issues in R.N.Pudur. ‘Have also distributed
prizes worth Rs.2000/- for selected students who all participated
in various kinds of competitions like essay, Drawing,
Oratory etc., which all reiterated the principles of Gandhi.

A medical comp which has been initiated
by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment
of India. We have participated in this meritorious
programme along with 33 beneficiaries from our district,
were availed artificial equipments, cycles which
helps the physically challenged souls as follows

- 6 Physically challenged souls availed three
wheeled cycles
- 4 Souls earned the hearing aid equipment.
- 3 Visually Impaired souls availed Braille
reading materials
- 20 physically challenged souls bagged artificial
legs, waking sticks, artificial hands. At the
expenditure budget of Rs.4,500/-

INTERACTING WITH GLOBAL AGENCIES

| Interacting with
foreign organization & functionaries is an important
to mark the remarkable development of an organization.
In this sense we participated with WATER RIGHTS
FOUNDATION of Italy regarding the fatal out come
of water pollution which is being caused by the
Tannery Industries. Since, Erode is situated in
the cauvery river basin. In this District at least
38 tanneries were functioning and more then a 1000
laboures were earning food from these industries,
who are also suffering a lot from the same. To raise
a primary Health Centre to serve these people we
pleaded with the above said FOUNDATION. The health
centre will provide free medical assistance for
the sufferers. Peace Trust of Dindigul also took
part in this regard. |

is one of the largest Democratic in the world. In
this 59th National occasion we valued some young
talents who all presented their special talents
and skills in Drawing, essay, singing and special
appearances. Our valued sponsor TATA GOLD PLUS helped
the poor students in a function held at Kollampalayam

REITERATING ROAD SAFETY AND
LIFE SAFETY - 11TH FEB ’08 |
| Road Safety is an
important ethic for all us. With the active participation
of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, we
had reached the post in a steady pace Using the
grant-in-aid of Rs.50,000/-. We created much awareness
about the Road Safety in 10 major schools and 5
villages in and around Erode District. Using the
advantages of electronic gadgets (have used LCD
projector) we reached more than 2,500 General Publics
& 5000 students about the need of Road safety.
Our District Superintendent of Police Sonal.V.Misra
IPS esq., has participated in this armful National
occasion along with RTO Mr. Ganeshan. We took very
pleasure that we have created a righteous awareness
about the Road Safety through this programme. |

NURTURING CHILDREN IN A GLOBAL
REACH - 4TH MARCH ‘08 |
Nurturing a child
is MOST IMPORTANT than any thing! If not they will
turn as an antisocial elements despite their Age
sense. Since, we in participation with WCPRC of
sweeden which strives for child rights all over
the world, conducted poll of rights 2008 for child
rights in India in some schools here in the budget
of Rs. 23,980/- the programme was widely appreciated
by all the schools, & children, participated.
In this meritorious programme children were given
an opportunity to elect their righteous leaders
who struggles for their Rights through an international
poll. In Erode District at least 86,110 have participated
in 266 Schools of ten blocks. The programme also
yielded a sensible result for us that we had reached
the situational rights if other children to these
86110 children. The poll conducted between Feb 15
and March 5, 2008.
Lasted up to 26th Feb ’08 with a felicitation
function. |

SUSTAINING NATIONALLY - 8TH
MARCH ‘08 |
NATIONAL
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS CAMPAGIN 2007-08
Conserving a species is crating a species, a hand
with C.P. Ramasamy Aiyar foundation we conducted
an awareness programme. At least 50 students from
Chikka Naykar Collage had participated in this programme
in a structure of cycle Rally up to a nearest Bird
Sanctuary - Vellode Birds Sanctuary. The District
forest officer Malik IFS esq., decorated the function,
around the budget of Rs.7,000/- at least more than
5000 General Public gained the awareness about the
importance of birds then the students gained the
knowledge about the need of birds for a good environment.
They also pledge to save the birds for a good environment. |

CARING A WILD LIFE TOO WITH
MINISTRY OF INDIA - 24TH MARCH ‘08 |
NATIONAL
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN – 2007-2008
Sponsored by Ministry of environment & forest
had catapulted a programme to save the wild life
and we participated in this programme to conserve
the endangered species along with a pack of students
in a nearest Village Kondayampalayam of Erode District.
Students were given special prizes for their keen
sense about the programme. Drawing competition,
Essay competition, Special appearance competition
were the some Important competition held at a budget
of Rs.4000/- have also conducted a rally which reached
more than 2000 general public, students have also
earned the knowledge about need of the animals for
an effective environment. |

EXPRESING THROUGH WORKS -
27TH MARCH ‘08 |
Work camps express
a lot than any kind of verbal inducement. Along
with Nehru Yuva Kendra we conducted a five day’s
work-camp to meet the needs of the good health and
sanitation. For this camp we have selected a Village
Poolapalyam which belongs to the Modakurichi constituency.
30 Youth have marked the camp by Cleaning the road,
white washing the school building, planting trees,
and creating awareness about the sanitation and
good health. Other important thing observed in this
camp is renovation of lavatory of the school with
tiled floor.
For this camp at least of Rs.20,000/- had been utilized.
