Programms Implemented by our organization “PASSUMAI
ULAGAM” During the financial year 2006 –
2007, on month wise detail with Expenses incurred.
Our organization “PASUMAI ULAGAM”
(GREEN WORLD) NGO – has been registered
by the year 2002 on 2 day of May and has been enhancing
programmes to reach our Vision & Mission to establish
a Green and Clean Erode District with out poverty, Gender,
caste, class and any other kind of discrimination and
have to establish a fair, equity, society. The month
wise break up of our works / programmes are as follows.

| APRIL 2006 |

An Artificial land has been established
and a garden has initiated at ERODE BUS
STAND. By which, we have involved to make
the bus stand to be beautiful. Total coast of budget
Rs.203900 (Erode Bus stand Entrance and Right side
of the portion and after the police out post) 1.Colour
Water Fountain 2.Electrical Tree 3.Rockery fountain |

Tree plantation week has conducted
and nearly 100 CAMPAIGNS PLANTED
in various places. All over the expenses Rs. 28.000
nearly 250 Trees was planted. |

Wall paintings on Environment
protection, importance of Tree plantation,
pollution control, Rain water harvesting etc., are
done on the Government Office and Government School
compound walls. The Expenses incurred was Rs.
38.000/- |

Food and other needed provisions
has been donated by “PASUMAI ULAGAM”
to the NL Karunai Ilam orphanages in Erode. For
which we have spent Rs. 2,000/-

2. Vocational Training for School
going children in 15 days programe ( Memory skill
development and spoken English, Handwriting Class
was contacted. The expenses incurred programme was

On 5th June “World Environment
day has been conducted and Hundreds of SHG women
participated our organization implement Kitchen
Garden Programme the expenses incurred Rs.4,200/- |

During this month, we have offered
“Free Computer Training to 25 young
Girls” under the financial assistance
of “Milka Wonder Cake” the expenses
incurred programme was Rs. 25,000/-

“PASUMAI ULAGAM”
– has celebrated the Independence Day on 15th
August at Erode Kamaraj Boy Hir Sec. School and
conducted cultural competition and other competition
among the School Students. Prizes are given to the
winners with an worth of expenses of
Rs. 500/- Total number students participate
- 30 , Total Number of Prize winners 12 Students.

Food and other needed provisions
has been donated by “PASUMAI ULAGAM”
to the Anbu Illam at Karur Road For which we have
spent Rs.2,000/- Dated :
14.09.2006 No. Of beneficiaries 35 Children
and 20 old age People. |

at Karur Main Road, in front of carmal School at
a cost of Rs. 5,000/- It
is an important palce and much more passengers wait
for Transportation for a long time. Dated 21.09.2006

Tree plantation campaign on mass
level has been celebrated at Pudavaikari Angala
parmeswari Temple campus. Hundreds of the public
participated and 50 No of saplinkgs planted in various
places. The expenses incurred programme was Rs.

“PASUMAI ULAGAM” has
conducted a free “Women Health”
at Chithodu in Erode. In which 100 Women
and Aged Persons participated.
Free medicine distributed. The Expenses in incurred

campaign has been conducted by our organization

this programme Rs. 1,400/- sponsored
by Nehru Yuva Kendra. |

On 26.01.07 The 57th Republic day
celebrated at CSI Hire. Sec. School and competition
conducted for the school children on Drawing, oratory,
Essay etc., and 12 winner students distributed prizes.

Awareness campaigns have been conducted
among the public to prevent the “Usage of
plastic products and Non – recyclable products
and Solid Waste Management programme. In this Programme
has been enhanced at the cost of Rs.

women, youth members participated.

conducted an celebrated festival function of “World
Women’s Day” at Kasipalayam
Village with an budget amount of Rs.
2,800/- among the SHG’s and women.
