Programms Implemented by our organization “PASSUMAI
ULAGAM” During the financial year 2004 –
2005, on month wise detail with Expenses incurred.
Our organization “PASUMAI ULAGAM”
(GREEN WORLD) NGO – has been registered
by the year 2002 on 2 day of May and has been enhancing
programmes to reach our Vision & Mission to establish
a Green and Clean Erode District with out poverty, Gender,
caste, class and any other kind of discrimination and
have to establish a fair, equity, society. The month
wise break up of our works / programmes are as follows

| APRIL 2004 |
1. |
Awareness campaign has been conducted
on Non – organic waste management
at Erode and Kasipalayam with a cost of Rs.1,000/-
expenses Dated: 10.04.2004 |

CLEAN & GREEN
city of Erode programme has been conducted at Kollampalayam
and Erode central bus stand by this progamme the
public were distributed notice / pamphlets / handbills
etc.., with an expenses of Rs.3,000/-

1. |
On 1st World labour day
has been conducted at Surampatti, Bulackcart Men.
The Expenses incurred was Rs.600/-
Total No. of Participants: 60 daily labours.

Tree plan at various
place in the Erode. Overall the Year Expenses incurred
was Rs.32,000/- Total No.
of Tree plantation 420 in 20 places. |

During this month, we have offered
“Free Tailoring Training to 20
young Girls under the financial assistance
of “Nehru Yuva Kendra” and Pasumai Ulagam’s
contribution of Rs.12,000/- |

25 Poor School Going Children
are given free study materials on behalf of chola
book stall, Thiruchengodu for the CSI School students
Erode. The expenses incurred programme was Rs.8000/-

On July 11th world population day
celebrated by Pasumai Ulagam at our office 100 SHG
members and public were participated in this function.

A campaign conducted on Environmental
awareness and the need of Tree plantation and Rain
water harvesting. The expenses incurred Rs.1,000/-

| AUGUST 2004 |
1. |
On 1st week of August world mother’s
feeding function has been conducted at Anganwadies
No’s 73474. In this programme the Pregnant
& Lactatating mothers participated. They have
advised and explored the importance of “Colostrums
& Breast Feeding To Children.”

2. |
“PASUMAI ULAGAM” –
has celebrated the “Nations” –
Independence Day on 15th August at Myladi and Govt.
Hire. Sec. School Bhavani and conducted various
cultural competition and other competitions among
the School Students. Prizes are given to the winners
and gifts given to all the participants, with a
worth of expenses of Rs.1,700/-

At V.O.C. Park Ground our Pasumai
Ulagam has been conducted an “SPORTS
MEET” for the youth club members.
In which more than 100 youths participated and prizes
were given to the winners. The Expenses incurred
was Rs.3,450/- |

Nutritional food given to the Aged
people at E.V.N. Road “Home for
the Aged” and a sports meet conducted
for them and prizes distributed. The expenses incurred

A passenger’s shelter was established
at Karungal Palayam, near the Register office at
a cost of Rs.11,000/- It
is an important place and much more passengers wait

“Blood Donation
Camps” - conducted at Erode G.H.
In which our members and more than 50 youth club
members participated and donate blood. The expenses
incurred was Rs.1,280/-

World AIDS – day
has been conducted at Erode Bus stand. In which
thousand of Hand bills, Notices distributed to the
public and Auto drivers, and other Transport workers
to create awareness on the epidemic HIV / AIDS and
the need of safe sex practices. The expenses incurred
was Rs.6,000/- |

On 26-01-05 – The 57th Republic
day celebrated at CSI primary School and competition
conducted for the school children on Drawing oratory,
Essay etc., and 12 winner students distribute prizes.

Erode Bus Stand Purification
programme has been implemented. The expenses incurred
was Rs.3,200/- Dated : 10.01.2005 |

Wall paintings on Environmenal
protection, importance of Tree plantation,
pollution control, Rain water harvesting etc., are
done on the Government, School compound walls. The

unemployed youth and women on Employment
opportunity creation & self employment
modes and use of available resources. The Expenses

On March 8th, PASUMAI ULAGAM has
conducted an celebrated festival function of “World
Women’s Day” at Veerappan
Chattram Village with an budget any amount of
Rs.3,500/- among the SHG’s
and women. Various culture programme was conducted
for the women. Total No.of Participants
120 women. The Prize winners 32. |

A special function on “Seminar
on Employment Opportunity” –
was also conducted and then various cultural programmes
by women has been proceeded by the SHG’s Women
and young Unemployed Youth. The expenses incurred
