Our organization “PASUMAI ULAGAM” (GREEN WORLD) NGO – has been registered by the year 2002 on 2 day of May and has been enhancing programmes to reach our Vision & Mission to establish a Green and Clean Erode District with out poverty, Gender, caste, class and any other kind of discrimination and have to establish a fair, equity, society. The month wise break up of our works / programmes are as follows.

1. PASUMAI ULAGAM – has conducted our celebrative function cum festival of “TREE PLANTION” along roadside areas and even in the villages. The total Expenses incurred was Rs.5,800/- by which 500 Tree saplings were planted Dated : 15.05.2002
   
2. To ensure the plants, Trees to be safety and motivate “Tree plantation” – PASUMAI ULAGAM” has organize and enroll youth groups as support group members, and provided needed training to them on environmental safety. In which training programmes 120 youth members participated. The total expenses incurred for this was Rs.6,850/- for two days. Dated : 22.05.2002
   
3. Food and other needed provisions have been donated by “PASUMAI ULAGAM” to the ANNUBU ILLAM Orphanages in Erode. For which we have spent Rs.12,560/- to support nearly 25 Orphan Children and 25 Old Age People.
   
4. Wall paintings of creation of awareness on Tree plantation, Environmental safety, child education, child labour prevention, need of school enrolment slogans written in public and Government campus compound walls. To enhance the process a consolidated amount of Rs.18,620/- was spent by PASUMAI ULAGAM.
   

1. On 5th June “PASUMAI ULAGAM” celebrated “The World Environment day” and planted Rs.1,000/- Trees in rural areas / school campuses etc.., For this our organization had spent Rs.2,500/- by which 50 Houses each has been provided Four Tree Saplings followed by awareness generation campaign nearly 500 public and SHG’s members youth club members participated.
   
2. PASUMAI ULAGAM - had distributed “Free educational materials” including books, notes, and stationeries to 25 Poor School Going Children. To meet out the programme we have spent Rs.8,700/- Dated : 10.06.2002
   
3. Awareness campaigns have been conducted among the public to prevent the “Usage of plastic products and Non – recyclable products. This programme has been enhanced at the cost of Rs.3,200/- in this programme nearly 50 SHG’s women, youth members participated. Dated : 26.06.2002
   

1. “PASUMAI ULAGAM” has conducted a free “Eye Camp” at Mayapuram Village in Erode. In which 120 Vision impaired people and Aged Persons participated. By which 25 people provided free optical assistance 18 needed people referred for Eye operation, Arasan Eye Hospital. The Expenses in incurred was Rs.8,380/- Dated : 08.07.2002
   
2. Plantation of Trees – has taken place in this month with a cost of Rs.2,500/- Dated : 14.06.2002
   
3. Explicit sexual and other harassment posters in the public walls / places and awareness creation slogans wall paintings works done with a cost of Rs.7,150/-
   

1. “PASUMAI ULAGAM” – has celebrated the “Nations” – Independence Day on 15th August at Mayapuram, and distributed the National Flag to 150 Families. Then conducted Athletic competition and other competitions among the villages people and prizes are given to the winners and gifts given to all the participants, with an worth of expenses of Rs.2,200/- nearly 50 youth club members and SHG’s members participated in the various competitions and 12 winners, Groups has given prizes and certificates.
   

1. The project “CLEAN & GREEN CITY” of Erode has been launched by “PASSUMAI ULAGAM” – and has the works initiated in Brough Road, Lotus Hospital, Bus stand, and Mettur road areas with wall paintings of awareness slogans with an expenditure of Rs.6,200/- with an involvement of 30 volunteers
   
2. Our organization PASUMAI ULAGAM has distributed, freely plates & Tumblers to 100 Anganwadi Centre Children worth Rs.4,00/- on 23.09.2002.
   

1. During this month, we have offered “Free Tailoring Training to 20 young Girls at our Training centre in SKC Road Erode, under the financial assistance of “Nehru Yuva Kendra” and Pasumai Ulagam’s contribution of Rs.4,640/- for the inauguration function and inception of the programme by which 20 young women has been selected for the training programme to promote individual entrepreneurship.
   

1. Our organization has conducted “Cleaning Week of Erode” along with SHG’s women at NGGO Colony, Erode – out with an expense of Rs.650/- for this awareness programme nearly 58 SHG’s member participated in this programme.
   
2. Food and ingredients distributed to the physically challenged children in Thindal Physically Handicapped Children’s Home for nearly 100 Children Dated : 18.11.2002
   
   

1. On 1st December 2002, AIDS awareness campaign has been conducted by our organization in Erode at the important places with an a budget cost of Rs. 2,650/-.
   
2. Solid waste management training programme has been conducted on 28.12.2002 13th ward of “Thiyagikumaran Street, Erode for the benefit of the people with a total cost of expenses of Rs. 800/-.
   

1. On 26.01.2003 Pasumai Ulagam – has celebrated the Republic day at Poondurai Village. In which hundreds of public including Youth and SHG’s women participated. The expenses incurred was Rs.1,550/-.
   
2. We have conducted “Blood Donation Camps” in Erode at various places. In which our Board members, volunteers, youth club members as a number of 36 volunteers had participated and donated blood voluntarily. The expenses incurred was Rs.2,500/- Dated : 12.01.2003
   

1. PASUMAI ULAGAM – has celebrated the “World Mother’s Day” on 22.02.2003. In which hundreds of latching mothers and women SHG’s members participated. This Programme mainly explored the child rearing methods; importance of breast feeding, first aid, care for children, etc.., the expenses came around Rs.1,000/- by private donation.
   
2. In this month we have construct and established passengers shelter shed at Surampatti Nall Road, Erode at the cost of Rs.5,000/- sponsored by Nehru Yuva Kendra. Dated : 28.02.2003

1. On the march 8th PASUMAI ULAGAM has conducted a celebrated festival function of “World Women’s Day at Erode with a budget amount of Rs.1,000/- by among 130 SHG’s members and the Anganwadi centre Pregnant and Latching Mothers.
   
2. A special function on “Seminar on Employment Opportunity” – was also conducted and then various cultural programmes by women have been produced by the SHG’s Women and Unemployed Youth. Expenses incurred for this programme was Rs.400/-. Dated : 15.03.2003
   
3. Free General Health Camp has been conducted at Karungalpalayam Hundreds of people have participated the camp and got the free medicine and consulting. Expenses incurred for this programme was Rs.750/-
