Make World Greener our organization “Pasumai Ulagam”
– is an registered Non-Government. Non –profitable
social welfare organization working for the empowerment
of the vulnerable downtrodden people and for the justice
of the socio, political victims in our society.
The organization “Pasumai Ulagam” then has
been initiated by a group of social activities by the
year 2000 as an ordinary “Youth Club”-with
an ambition to do some social welfare activities for
the poor people and towards establishing a “Green
Society”. It means not only to ensure environmental
safety, but also to establish poverty free, educationally
aware, and economically empowered, access to the health
services, environmentally protective well equipped society.

“To establish an empowered just fair society
by creating awareness, and canalizing the available
resources for the “income Generation access
to a favorable standard of living of the people and
protecting environment by organizing them into micro
level group and work with them to ensure their basic
human rights with co-ordination and assistance of
both financial and technical of the Government at
Non-Governmental and International Agencies”.

These words are the motivating, energetic fuel for
our youth group. We came to realize the necessity
of legal status for our club, to act more efficiently
and can access various sources of means for the welfare
of the needy vulnerable people.
Since, we have Registered our club under the “Tamil
Nadu Societies Registration Act of 1975 u/s 27, of
1975 on the 2nd day of May 2002.
INNOVATIVE INVOLVEMENTS :

Since from inception, we have been serving more for
the empowerment of educational, economical spheres
of the poorest in Erode District, on the other had
our organization has been working to establish a “
CLEAN & GREEN, ERODE ” through
plantation of Trees, ensuring social forestry, establishing
botanical Garden in road sides, promoting kitchen
garden in our SHG women residential. Our most probable
strategy 13 implementation of any such developmental
programmes through organized, educated, Trained, Micro
leveled mutually supporting self help Groups of both
homogenous and heterogeneous group of the beneficiary
community.
